Upload clear photos, scans or copies of your handprints or footprints when ordering. Where possible, upload more than one so we can choose the clearest print for engraving.

Your handprint or footprint is carefully cleaned and prepared so the detail works beautifully at jewellery size.

Your finished jewellery is engraved, checked, polished and sent with care.

Do I need a perfect handprint or footprint?

No, handprints and footprints rarely come out perfectly, especially when they are taken from babies and young children. Faint areas, uneven paint, smudges and missing detail are all completely normal.

We carefully clean and prepare your chosen print before engraving, removing unwanted marks while preserving the natural lines and character that make it personal.

Where possible, take several prints and upload the clearest examples with your order. We will choose the print that will produce the best finished engraving.

Can you use handprints or footprints I already have?

Yes. We can work from original prints, scanned copies or clear photographs of handprints and footprints you already have.

How can I take a handprint or footprint at home?

You can use a child-safe ink pad or non-toxic poster paint to take prints on plain white paper. It is helpful to take several prints so we can choose the clearest one for engraving.

Do I need to email my prints?

No. You can upload clear photographs or scans of your handprints or footprints when ordering, so the correct images stay safely with the correct order.

What if the handprint or footprint is faint or smudged?

Prints do not need to be perfect. We carefully clean and prepare each handprint or footprint before engraving and can often work with faint, uneven or slightly smudged prints.

Can I add a name, date or handwriting too?

Yes. Many designs can also include a name, date, initials, handwriting or an additional message engraved on the back.

How long does handprint and footprint jewellery take?

All jewellery is made to order, so please allow up to two weeks for delivery. If you need your order sooner, please get in touch and we will do our best to help.
