Separate images can share the same crystal

A single image can be engraved up to 100 × 100 mm. On a larger block, several separate elements can be prepared and engraved individually, then arranged together as one balanced design.

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of images can you engrave inside crystal?

We can work from many photographs, portraits, pet images, handprints, footprints, fingerprints, baby scans, drawings and handwritten messages. Clear images give us the strongest starting point, but they do not need to look like finished engraving artwork.

Is the engraving on the surface of the block?

No. The design is engraved inside the crystal, so the outside remains smooth while the image appears held within the block.

Can you remove the background from my photograph?

Yes. We carefully isolate the subject and remove distracting background detail where this will create a clearer finished engraving.

Can I add a name, date or short message?

Yes. A name, date or short personal message can be prepared with your image where the chosen layout has suitable space.

Should I choose portrait or landscape?

The four rectangular blocks can be created in portrait or landscape. Choose the orientation that naturally matches your image. If you are unsure, we can assess the image you upload and advise before engraving.

How long will my crystal keepsake take?

Your crystal keepsake will be designed, engraved and shipped within two weeks of your order being placed.
