Description

Sterling Silver Photo Engraved Double Heart Necklace

  • Interlocking silver chain and heart pendants
  • Comes with 17 inch sterling silver chain and a 1 inch extension
  • Small image from your photo engraved onto the heart
  • Optional engraving on back of heart

Interlocking hearts offer a reminder of a close connection. A small personal image is engraved onto the heart, turning the necklace into a keepsake linked to a loved one, a pet or a shared memory.

The engraving area is small, so choose one clear detail from a photo or a short piece of handwriting. A simple design leaves the shape of the interlocking hearts visible around it.

Ideas for your personal engraving

  • Photos: Choose a close crop of one face or a single detail that matters to you. The small engraving area cannot show the same detail as the original photograph, so an uncluttered image is best.
  • Handwriting: A few characters, a short word or a small signature can preserve someone’s own writing. Send a clear photograph or scan of the original rather than retyping the words.
  • Drawings: A little heart, a simple doodle or a bold outline can work well at this scale. Choose the most recognisable part of a drawing rather than a page filled with detail.
  • Pet portraits: A clear close-up of your pet’s face is the most useful starting point. A larger piece will be more suitable if you want to keep detailed fur markings or a full portrait.
  • Nose prints: The pattern can be taken from a clear close-up or an existing nose print. At this size only a small amount of texture will remain visible, so a selected detail may be more effective.
  • Paw prints: A simple paw print outline can remain recognisable even on a small keepsake. Supply a clear image of the whole print, with the pads separated from the background.
  • Handprints and footprints: A small handprint or footprint can also provide the outline for your engraving. The image is reduced to fit; it will not retain the original print’s size or every fine detail.

Upload a clear photograph or scan of your chosen image when ordering. If you are unsure whether the artwork will suit this design, contact us before placing your order.

Caring for sterling silver

Sterling silver naturally changes over time and may develop tarnish as it reacts with the environment. This is completely normal and can usually be removed with gentle cleaning and polishing.

Keep it dry Remove your jewellery before swimming, bathing or showering.
Avoid chemicals Keep silver away from bleach, chlorine, household cleaners, perfume and lotions.
Polish gently Use a suitable silver polishing cloth and avoid harsh abrasive cleaners.
Store carefully Keep jewellery clean and dry and ideally store pieces separately to help prevent scratches and tarnish.

Engraved jewellery: Avoid aggressive polishing, abrasive pastes and silver dips over the engraved area. Gentle cleaning helps preserve the fine detail and contrast of your engraving.
