The four-sided silver bar offers a compact way to keep words and memories close. A signature or a simple line drawing can run along the front, while the optional side engravings let you add a separate personal detail.
Each face is only 4mm wide. Keep the main artwork simple and use the available sides for separate wording rather than crowding the front. A wide portrait or detailed scene will suit a broader pendant better.

- Photos: A narrow crop or a small feature from a photograph may suit the available space. A full face, group photo or detailed scene usually needs a wider piece to remain recognisable.
- Handwriting: Short words and signatures can follow the length of the design. Use a clear image of the original writing, keeping the message brief enough for the letters to remain readable.
- Drawings: Simple line drawings and small doodles work better than shaded or busy artwork. Choose a detail that can follow the narrow shape without becoming crowded.
- Pet portraits: A pet photograph may provide a selected detail for engraving, but there is limited width for a face. Choose a broader pendant or charm if a complete portrait is your priority.
- Nose prints: A selected section of a clear nose print can create a personal pattern. The crop must suit the narrow engraving area, so it will not show the whole print at its original scale.
- Paw prints: A small paw outline may fit where the pad shapes remain distinct. A clear photograph or scan of the print helps show whether the design will work at this width.
- Handprints and footprints: A single simple handprint or footprint can be considered for the same space. More detailed prints, or several prints together, are better suited to a larger surface.

Caring for sterling silver
Sterling silver naturally changes over time and may develop tarnish as it reacts with the environment. This is completely normal and can usually be removed with gentle cleaning and polishing.
